Regency Security focuses on internal progression for employees

Carl Smith has been working with Regency Security for 11 years and started his career as a Door Supervisor working in a few small bars. He then moved to Essex University and later to Yates in Colchester, where he diligently worked his way up to second in command.

At just 21 he had the skills, knowledge and training to be promoted to the position of Head Door Supervisor, where he built a strong professional partnership with the General Manager of Yates. Carl excels in forging professional relationships with venue staff and local authorities, listening to their requirements ensuring staff and public feel safe at all times.

Carl was keen to continue learning and grow his skill set to further progress within the group. After meeting Regency’s MD Gary Powers, he was further promoted to the position of Manager at Regency’s sister company, Regency Guarding and Events Limited.

Carl said ‘In my time at Regency, I have really enjoyed it and made some great friends who have helped me get to where I am today.’  He joined with the goal of becoming a Head Door Supervisor and an Area Manager, with the support of Regency he has reached and excelled in his personal goals.
