Over the past four days, Regency has provided security at Carrow Road, the home of Premiership football club Norwich City.
It all started on Thursday 30th May, when Take That played to a sell out audience of nearly 28,000 for their Greatest Hits Live Tour. The concert featured all their chart-topping hits across three decades after the release of the Odyssey compilation album in November last year.
As the official security partner of Norwich City FC, Regency had a large team of event security professionals, making sure that the concert was safe and enjoyable for everyone who attended.
This is the second time Regency had provided security for Take That. In 2017, Take That were in Norwich with their Wonderland Tour.
Following Take That, Carrow Road was transformed into a Wrestling arena! It was the turn of Fightmare and we were extremely proud to be the main partner in this growing sport with Norwich fast becoming the capital of wrestling in the UK.
Fightmare was promoted as the greatest wrestling show ever seen in Europe and featured top superstars from the UK and America including Mick Foley, Billy Gunn & Sinn Bodhi, Luke Hawx, the Hooligans and RKJ. In addition, Fightmare included Norwich City Football Club icon, Grant Holt and the Legendary Knight Family, as depicted in the UK box office smash Fighting with my Family.
On the day before the main event, Regency provided security for an exclusive meet and greet of the stars which was followed by an evening with WWE legend Mick Foley and Roy Knight.
Sunday was showtime and 4,000 people had purchased tickets to watch the afternoon of wrestling. The Regency team were responsible for the escorting the wrestlers to the ring for each match and for maintaining crowd safety during the event.
