Contenders EA (East Anglia) is the largest Sport Promotion in the East Anglian region of the UK. September 2015 saw Contenders EA ‘taking it to a new level’ by showcasing local, regional and European talent from the Norfolk showground Arena. They pack out their shows and deliver a memorable sporting night out. This is a full on entertainment show. Lights, camera, action, ring girls, full bar and food. This is an evening out with fantastic fight action thrown in!
Promoter Steve Newman, started Contenders Norwich in early 2013 with his first show in March, expanding Contenders to Ipswich in early 2014. With a love for one of the nations fastest growing sports, and having owned and run a variety of other businesses, Steve has settled in to the art of match making, regularly producing some exhilarating bouts in both MMA and K1. Steves attention to detail awards him great reviews from coaches, fighters and spectators.
