Regency Security had the privilege of visiting the Help for Heroes, Chavasse VC House Recovery Centre in Colchester last week. The purpose of the visit was a discovery day to see where fundraising is put to use and to hear from some of the armed forces personnel that have benefited from using the facility.

The recovery services at Chavasse VC House are available to all wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel, Veterans and their loved ones.

Chavasse VC House offers accommodation, social areas, family rooms and a fitness centre, as well as comprehensive and co-ordinated ongoing support. It ensures that wounded, injured and sick personnel have access to the key services and resources needed to help them either return to duty or make an appropriately skilled transition into civilian life.

Caroline Brown, Commercial Manager for Regency Security said, “Help for Heroes is our official charity and it is lovely to see where the money from our fundraising activities go to. The centre is an incredible place and I can see just how many people benefit from the facilities and the specialist staff that work here.”

Regency Security holds an annual football tournament at Norwich City FC, where earlier this year 12 teams from across the country competed and raised £2,176 bringing the total raised for Help for Heroes to £4,523.
